Description 

For this packet we will explore the physical geography and recent history of Eastern Europe, especially those nations near the Black Sea. This part of the world has been thrust to the attention of the world since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in Feb. 2022. The war against Ukraine is causing many nations around the world to support Ukraine while others are supplying weapons to Russia.

Objectives

Students will identify and explain unique cultural and physical geographic features of this region.
